"independANTs" is the second episode in season three of A.N.T. Farm . It first aired on June 7, 2013. It earned 3.49 million viewers on its premiere. [1]

Plot

Chyna and the ANT's delight in life without parental supervision; however, tensions arise when Olive can't take it anymore and tries to create rules the ANT's, and creates a whole bunch of crazy rules. Soon, Chyna and the gang must break Olive's "Ten Thousand Commandants", but don't want to hurt her feelings along the way. Meanwhile, Lexi helps Zoltan close a deal with a business partner by teaching him her scheming tactics.

In the A.N.T Farm Lexi: She's in charge of acquisitions and she brought that outfit? Winter Maddox: Do you need a tissue? Obviously you're quite snotty.

In the Girl's lounge Chyna: Olive, these rules are ridiculous. Fletcher: Yeah, like rule number 79: No eating with your mouth open. How am I supposed to get Food in there? Olive: See rule 80 Fletcher: Turns page. No asking stupid questions Fletcher.

In the A.N.T Farm Chyna: To Fletcher There's a real Banister? Zoltan Grundy: Who do you think you are, Banister, supervising these kids without my approval? Olive: Yeah! What is wrong with you? Outlawing interesting factoids, I've had to use uninteresting factoids all day!

In the A.N.T Farm Banister: But Sir, I have a wife and five kids, all named Zoltan. Fletcher: No excuses Banister, hit the bricks!! Points towards the door Chyna: Wait! Banister didn't do anything. Fletcher: Well now he can not do anything at home, because he ain't working here anymore!!

Trivia

• This is the second time Olive goes rule crazy and mad with power, the first being The replacemANT
• Zibby Allen, who appeared on the season one episode cANTonese Style Cuisine as Madame Goo Goo, plays Winter Maddox, Zoltan's vice president of acquisitions.
• Hashimoto initially made an appearance in Suite Life on Deck along with his soda company Hashimoto Soda. (This was because Dan Signer is a writer for both shows).
• Dorian Banister is a reference to the first episode of A.N.T Farm, it's eventually revealed that a person with that name actually exists in Z-Tech.
• Hashimoto makes a reference to Godzilla.
• Starting this episode, Chyna's hair has blonde highlights.

Goofs

• When Lexi is talking to Winter Maddox, her hair changes positions several times throughout the scene.
