IgnorANTs Is Bliss is the sixteenth episode in season one of A.N.T. Farm. It aired on November 4, 2011.

Overview

When a deafening noise caused by Fletcher causes Olive to lose her memory, Chyna, Fletcher, and Angus go to great lengths to get her memory back before Principal Skidmore dismisses her from the A.N.T. Program and sends her back to kindergarten. Meanwhile, Lexi and Cameron enter Gibson's dog show.

Summary

Principal Skidmore selects Chyna to give a speech at the A.N.T. recruitment event. However, Cameron accidentally breaks Chyna's ANTpad while trying to play a boxing game. The ANTpad was the only place Chyna's speech was saved. However, Olive proofread the speech and had it memorized. When Olive goes into the sound booth to recite the speech, Fletcher plugs something into Chyna's amplifier which causes a deafening noise. When Olive exits the sound booth she says she feels fine, but doesn't recognize anyone and it is clear that she has lost her eidetic memory.

Skidmore then takes her to see a doctor who says that the sound waves caused an inflammation in her hippocampus and there is no way of telling when or if Olive's memory will ever come back. Fletcher asks what will happen if her memory doesn't come back. Skidmore responds says that she'll no longer have a talent and will have to leave the A.N.T. Program. Chyna tells Skidmore that she can't do that and tries to assure her that Olive has other talents such as tap dancing. The school bells rings and Olive gets trampled in a hallway rush, similar to the way Angus did in TransplANTed.

Later, Chyna thinks that since a loud sound made Olive lose her memory, another one could bring it back. This, however, does not work and Skidmore says she has to leave high school. Chyna begs her not send Olive to elementary school. Skidmore says she's not ready for that and sends her back to kindergarten. When Chyna and Fletcher visit her, she still doesn't remember them. Chyna tells Olive that they're best friends, but Olive says that Isabelle is her best friend because she gave Olive a sticker. As Chyna and Fletcher leave, Fletcher slams the door which causes one of the kindergarteners, Josh, block tower to fall down. Olive tells him not to cry because she remembers exactly how it went. She then gives him an "interesting factoid" about the

Tower of Pisa , meaning her memory was back.

Afterwards, Chyna comes back because she forgot her cellphone. We then see Olive telling Josh the exact pattern that his block tower was in. Chyna sees her and is excited because she has her memory back. Olive then tries to pretend that she doesn't know who Chyna is and yells out "stranger danger". Chyna then realizes that Olive has been faking and never really lost her memory. Olive says that she did, but it came back when she got trampled in the hallway. Olive says she just wanted to get out of high school, because kindergarten is the life. She then tries to get Chyna to lose her memory, so they could be in the same kindergarten class. Chyna then leaves and sarcastically thanks Olive for making her rewrite her speech for nothing.

Later that day, we see Chyna is at the A.N.T. recruitment event. She is about to give her speech, but Fletcher bumps into her and causes her to drop her cards where she had her speech written. She says that she can't do the speech because it's out of order. She does, however, try to give the speech, but it doesn't come out right. Olive then walks in and says that she remembers every word of the speech. Skidmore tells her to come up to the podium and deliver the speech. After Olive is done reciting the speech, she apologizes to Chyna and Fletcher. Chyna thanks Olive for bailing her out and they share a hug.

Meanwhile, Cameron enters Gibson's dog show against Lexi to try and pay for the ANTpad. He first borrows a police dog from his dad, but the dog attacks Cameron every time he hears the word "attack". Instead, Cameron decided to get a cat and dress it up as a dog. Gibson is fooled, but Lexi isn't, and she exposed the cat. This makes all of the dogs run away to chase the cat, causing the dogs to run right through the A.N.T. recruitment event.

Memorable Quotes

Olive: I'm sorry guys. I never should have lied to you. Chyna: I'm just glad you're back! Fletcher: Yeah, Chyna's just glad you're back.

Chyna: Well, thanks for bailing me out. And I want you to know I meant every word that I wrote. Olive: And I meant every word that you wrote that I said.

Cameron: Snuggles is a sweetheart, as long as he doesn't hear the word A-T-T-A-C-K. Lexi: A-t-t-a-c-k. Attack? Cameron: NOOOO!! Snuggles starts attacking Cameron. Release, Snuggles, release! Cameron: Snuggles stops attacking. Lexi, please don't say you-know-what again. Gibson: Hey, this isn't working, do either of you have a tack? Cameron: NOOOO!! Snuggles starts attacking Cameron again.

Principal Skidmore: Oh my goodness! You almost gave me...a...heart...attack. Cameron: Snuggles starts attacking Cameron again as earlier on in the episode. NOOOO!!

Trivia/Goofs

• This episode was filmed on July 8, 2011.
• Part of the script from this episode was leaked onto the internet, but wasn't used in the final cut.
• Running Gag: People saying "attack" causing Snuggles to attack Cameron.
• Olive was put into kindergarten
• This is the second time Lexi says "... is merely a formality" in the first season.
• Snuggles was not in the dog show but appeared when Skidmore said attack.
• It would actually be difficult to write "poop" instead of "poor" because "r" is typed with the left hand and "p" is with the right.
• Chyna says Skidmore had had her raven following Chyna all day but it wasn't there when she was talking to Angus.
• Similar events in this episode happened in the Wizards of Waverly Place episode "Curb Your Dragon"
• In Wizards Of Waverly Place, they enter a dog show. Justin kept on saying that you can't say F-L-Y. In this episode Cameron can't say A-T-T-A-C-K. Also when the cat exits the room, all the dogs follow after it. In Wizards Of Waverly Place , when they saw the tiger the dogs chased after it. And also, it could be coincedental because it was at a dog show too.
• The phone Cameron is holding is the same as Principal Skimore's phone he stole in SciANTs Fair
